So, you're out as well?17.auflage wrote:OK, so the most usual suspects are out ...
Very understandable as you also have more mouths to feed!paul wrote:I decided that my "big spending days" on Ebay are over. I have so much Sisters stuff lying around, and (again) spending hundreds of Euro's on a record... it doesn't satisfy me as much as it did in the past ... Long live those who do
That also counts ofcourse. My kids dont like the taste of bootleg vinyl, not even if rare or with cream on topOzpat wrote: Very understandable as you also have more mouths to feed!
My son once bit Patricias head off a bootleg 7" cover, I guess he liked it because he was p*ssed off when I took it out of his mouth.. I wasn't that happy eitherpaul wrote:That also counts ofcourse. I spend hundreds only on official stuff. Bootlegs have a much lower max for me.
Lucky meVictim of Circumstance wrote:GBP 310, cheaper than I'd expected, anyone knows who bought it?
Nice that you use the word "everyone", like there are many people bidding ... I guess it's just 4 or 5 peple willing to pay those amounts of money for Sisters stuff, and guess what: ... they've all posted in this very thread!despair wrote:seems like everyone just capitulated thinking it would be just too expensive.
Luckily for me,I only collect Sisters shirts, although they can be expensive, they don't go for hundreds of pounds.I've got the odd bit of bootleg vinyl, but it was bought from record fairs about twenty years ago!Ozpat wrote:Very understandable as you also have more mouths to feed!paul wrote:I decided that my "big spending days" on Ebay are over. Well, yeah with the exception of taylor, The-Happening and Drsisters I guess.paul wrote:Nice that you use the word "everyone", like there are many people bidding ... 345 was my max bid, 310 the actual price. Of course I can't argue with anyone who thinks this is expensive for a 7" vinyl record, but I am quite happy with the price I got it for.paul wrote:oh, and I don't think 345 GBP is cheap though, but congrats anyways
I'll buy it in a couple of months when I get my tax refund if you still have it by then! Most likely someone else will buy it before that though.Drenchrom wrote:I'd quite happily sell mine for £250.
I am in a pretty fortunate job situation at the moment, and the weak GBP gives me good exchange rates. For £31 each I'd be happy to buy the complete alphabet.Drenchrom wrote:Well done Despair, i thought i paid through the nose for mine (about a tenth of the ebay price)!
If we do a list here at all, we shouldn't forget some great collectors such as spiggymr7, Bruno from Belgium and Ficol (apologies to anyone I missed) - you guys all have great collectionsdespair wrote: Well, yeah with the exception of taylor, The-Happening and Drsisters I guess.
And please excuse my ignorance.Victim of Circumstance wrote:If we do a list here at all, we shouldn't forget some great collectors such as spiggymr7, Bruno from Belgium and Ficol (apologies to anyone I missed) - you guys all have great collections
