btw, can you think of any way we can link our last couple of posts to why we might need eldritch (as the thread title so clearly suggests) before we get told off by the mods?

All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted.
Yeah, right.

I'm as bad (if not worse) as anyone for going off topic.

Having said that, this is probably better off in General...

hang on, you actually suck cheesecake?

on another note, it's always nice to see that there are other people in this world who are clearly doing their best to bullshit away the last couple hours of the working week :D

well it will be a chocolate cheesecake and anything chocolate i have to suck. and i make the base from bourbons - although i dont suck that. so i spose its a combination of sucking and munching.

well i have this afternoon been to a supermarket, B & Q and to the bottlebank with half a million plastic bottles.*

and it was warm enouth to have the top down 8)

*slight exaggeration.

never tried using bourbon creams for the base. it sounds like it would work really well though, will definitely give them a shot the next time i decide to poison someone with my cooking

what might be slightly problematic, however, would be me eating the darn packet before i even get started on the base...

...and that's experience talking

i just have to be very disciplined. which i can do. unless of course it gets to the point where to get the correct weight i need to break a biscuit in half

you just need the bourbons and butter. very simple. makes a nice choccie not too sickly base. try it :D

sorry mods. still thinking that eldridge is needed as much as cheesecake ;D

as much as i love chocolate cheesecake, i think i will go for something slightly more intensely chocolatey if :von: has to come into the equation. ;D

One where he regularly releases albums then?

Can we get back to discussing cake rather than this sad Sisters-related derailment. I like Victoria sponge which luckily is very easy to make

he does indeed. he is also rumoured to be working on a project with the parallel-universe lily allen. :urff:

i think we'll have to wait for Debi to log in for that - sadly, my culinary skills do not extend beyond the rice-krispy-covered-in-chocolatey-gunk concoction

tried it with honey smacks too, but didn't work
