in fairness, i think they have a slightly more focussed and more reliable agent helping them book gigs these days, hence the amount of notice :D

Yep. And then you need a loo when you're half way through the crowd. No way. At war and in heat I don't eat or drink until it's over. :von:

also in fairness, the band members aren't that easily available as before, so proper planning is simply required - this causing good and bad affects, although rehearsing does not afford that much time as we know

Don't know if we can make it over again next year... (new cars, house renovations....oh and work...) but we'll try!

We all know that Meraluna is GOTHIC festival. One of the most important festivals in Germany. I don´t really like gothic festivals but I´ve seen many good bands there: New Model Army, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Jesus and Mary Chains, Bauhaus, and this year Fields of The Nephilim best show I´ve ever seen....
It may rain (like always) or it may be hot. No matter the weather if the Sisters plays there.
You don´t need to see the bands which play at 11.00 in the morning :-)
Just drink a good BECK beer and eat a big Sausage!!!
Amen :notworthy:

Great news it is indeed!

wonder about volume level. do you think it'll stay so high as this year or maybe they start to think about our ears and gigs will be a little bit quiet

next gig(s) going to be pure unplugged: only acoustic guitars and finally we will be able to see this very small closed in the box called Dr Avalanche and of course whispering Andrew.

Dr Poo wrote:Be warned, the last time they announced a gig this far ahead it got cancelled.
But the fact that there are any news about any gig in 2010 means that there is a plan to play some festivals, and it's not planned to be a gap year, right? 8) :P
