no snow here in the proper north west of england.
had abit over xmas but nearly all gone now. still bloody cold though. lots of frost on frost on frost = very slippy bad news in my rear wheel drive car.

was about -17 in the centre of manchester this morning! city centres dont get that cold! wtf? it's not bloody sweden!

sadly i live within walking distance of work so had no choice but to go in
i used to live 8 mins walk away, now i live 25 mins walk away... which took me 50 mins yesterday because of icy pavements etc

i was told not to go. i don't think it's that bad on the roads, but without going, it's hard to tell! and the person making the decision doesn't live anywhere near, either. so how can anyone know?

Tonight and tomorrow snow blizzard "Daisey" is coming to visit me and the rest of Germany.
The fact they've given the storm a name says it all.
