Careful with those knives, Pista! ... :innocent: : ...
Thankyou for your concern, but I CAN operate a knife.
You want to slag off the parties, then fine. As a Curboi, I am used to abuse.
Not really an issue.
Now. GET FECKING BENT!
please (how polite was that?)

As I wrote before: Have fun, anyway.

Did your mother never tell you, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all? I fail to see how you leap from shoddy poster design to the Third Reich :urff:

Aye, I can understand if English is not someone's first language and their point gets lost in translation.....NOT THIS TIME. :|

 ... maybe you're not that sensible to such issues ... or it's just a cultural difference ... ...

Fact is, this ad is playing with such allusions ...
I surely won't think you were some of those idiots. Such an advert is just
bad strategy. There were surely better ways to invite fans (and maybe
interest newbies) to this party. If you didn't get the point, sorry.

Do explain.

What does a picture of Robert Smith and a picture of the Brandenburg Gate, which is an internationally recognised Landmark, a symbol for the City of Berlin, have to do with Neo-Nazi's turning up for a birthday party?

Or is it the date of the parties that you object to?

The more you post, the higher it sits.
Maybe I didn't get the point.
You certainly didn't
I invited everyone to 2 parties.
If you want to do better graphics then do it. otherwise, shove it!

Gnight!

They might feel invited, since the ad plays with their symbols. Apart from
that, it's just tedious to have these allusions again and again ... Germany,
re-united Berlin - fine, so take some "landmarks" and a wave ...

Why not use this composition of pictures for the London party and the
other design for "the Germans"? Because this were not the appropriate
picture language for the respective people or culture? I wonder.

But, hell, I really don't want to spoil anyone's pleasure.
I'm sure some German Cure fans might even like it.

Let's all take a deep breath and calm down.

I really have no idea where you get the idea that the poster is in any way promoting neo-nazism Being645, I think you're being over-sensitive.

Can we all play nice please? OK? OK.

Exactly. It's also rather insulting to Pista to even hint at him promoting something with such connotations.

So let's leave it and move on.

Probably Bob's rising hand from his Entreat era looks like "Zig Hail" salut simbol ! (in reality he rises 2 hands on this photo if memory serves) Used to be a fan of the Cure. Love and peace to all !

unfortunetly i have to agree with this.
damn and i thought that i have a very bad idea and saying a bit too much. how wrong i was.
even if i'm far from being fan or even listener of the Cure and all those compulsive listenig/watching of the fat bob by Pista makes my a bit concerne and makes my laugh in the same time i'm far from calling or even suggesting that he's a (neo) nazi only because on poster what he've posted is Brandenburg gate or even a raised left hand, it's like calling you a Mein Kampf fan just because you living in Germany. a way too much and way to less of thinking.

Thanks for all the messages.

Just for the record (& for those who don't know me), I am most certainly NOT a neo Nazi or fascist of any sort, even if my mode of dress involves predominantly wearing black shirts.
The whole thing is somewhat abhorrent & nauseating to me & anyone who knows me will say the same.
Hope that clears that up.

So. Back on topic.
If anyone wants to go to the parties, then see you there.

And so as to finish this unfortunate discussion ...

I have definitely NOT suggested Pista were a (neo) nazi!!! ... That were really quite a bit too far ...

Maybe you're right, I'm relatively sensitive in places. However, the fact that I find it tedious,
strategically inappropriate and superfluous to play with certain symbols and to make use of
a stereotype picture language, does not automatically include I suggested anyone were honestly
promoting neo-nazism. Apart from the further fact that I can even see sort of joke in this ad.

And now like I - repeatedly - wrote earlier ....

Have a nice evening, whoever likes to go to this party - despite any "shoddy poster" and it's unexpected repercussion.

Full Stop.
