VW Beetle, and apparently something of a hippie. Couldn't be further from the truth: I despise both the cars and hippies.

The most common items in the tree:MadameButterfly wrote:EB ~ I only know four items on the Spork's family tree!
Knife
Fork
Spoon
Spatula
Ladle
5 items.
If you only know four, I am trying to imagine what your kitchen looks like, but every time I do my brain shuts down and oozes out of my ears.
Edit: while I've never actually heard it referred to as a "foodle", your lack of familiarity with this implement leads me to wonder how you serve spaghetti or other similar long thin pasta types.

What I hate is when you get a salad from the pick-and-mix counter in the supermarket and they provide those plastic sporks which appear to be made from the most flexible material known to mankind. Not very useful when trying to prong a huge pickled onion.Maisey wrote:I hate the whole concept of the spork. There is nothing you can eat where either a spoon or a fork wouldn't be more useful.
Damn those sporks.

I'm not that kind of lady that needs every little thing in her kitchen anyway, my policy is to make do with what I do have! Serve spaghetti with a fork and spoon & a bit of a twist.
