So my ticket came on Monday. My best mate Collin and I will be heading down, along with hopefully Miss Posh Burd fae Bearsden. Our plan is to get down around 5pm, then depart at 9am the next morning.
Wonder whether we could stow away with Faderhead, as he's playing in Glasgow the following night...
Either way, anyone I've not met, I'll be wearing a black bandana with a smiley face badge, and probably dancing my non-existent tits off. Come say hello. :3

I have been looking into things myself.
train to London, arriving around noon.
gig, afterthingy, sleep.
having some drinks in the area if there still are some people around?
sleep, and getting back home on monday.
now, I just need to make the calculations and get the gut to book it all.

Ticket web appear to have tickets priced at fifteen and six-fifty, as evidenced
here. What's the crack, Heartlanders?
And who's coming back to Leeds? I can offer petrol costs and scintillating conversation...

The gig and after party are both in Islington, so the easiest place to meet up will be The Angel pub just opposite the tube station.
Its just a 'spoons but its the easiest to find.

£4.50 is for the feeling gloomy club night. You don't want that one
Besides, we'll all be in Slimelight.

Had a looksee and The York seems a better bet, it's not a 'Spoons, there is seating outside for the smoking fraternity,(me) it's 2 minutes from the O2, it's a pub not a bar and it's still not a 'Spoons

No, but I am a big fan of Spoonerisms, which is a shame considering my name ends up as Willy Bilkinson

The York is quite nice from what I remember, I used to semi-regularly drink in there in the late 90s before going on to Slimelight.

*Nods* - unless you want to be missing the Violets and Gangwar!
See you down there, I would offer to chauffeur you & Nat from Leeds, but I'll already be in London that week for work .

If you are truly wanting to come to this gig it might be an idea to think about ordering your tickets now, as according to a lot of our friends they seem to take a week or two to arrive by post. And yes, there are some left at the moment

So, ladies and gents, after much beating around the bush on facebook I finally found the way to this spot again, and can proudly confirm that Eggi and I will be in London, too. Arriving on friday, leaving again on sunday. Anything good on on friday night? Electric Ballroom still exists, and if so what are they offering on a friday night?
See you all next saturday, hopefully...
PS! Wasn't Debbie coming, too?
