i am here for the great sense of humor i discovered in jokes/entertainment section that this community has
and also discovered that game mentioned with titles/songs
great game
and the weed/vine section fullfil all my desires about new material, and the truth is i stopped yelling about new release with the knowledge of its existance
also my interest about the band grew more with the last scheme that
formed. The current formation i think is more talented and interesting than the first period

Had a think about this & after I put the fire out, I decided it was the band that originally brought the vast majority of us here.
Since I joined I've met (personally & virtually) some of the most interesting, talented & genuinely good people I know.
The banter is superb & the more serious discussions are very engaging. You can't help but want to log in of a day.
Band or no band, HL seems to be a very strong "family" that laughs, debates, suffers & from time to time argues. But that family does all that together, like in real life.
But if it weren't for the band, I'd prolly never have discovered the place.
Glad I did & glad to be part of it.

I mainly come on here for the great frendship that is on here.
I've only met a few people from here in 2006 but then from PMs & sharing CDs & DVDs I've had a few email conversations with members on here that were quite far beyond the expected general chit chat - we did talk about life things so this forum does build bonds & keeps me coming back on here for the General Chat as much as The Sisters Chat.
Even if The Sisters never do release another single or album that wont matter to me, I do love The Sisters & that'll never change - I'll be listening to them until the day I die.
I'd love it if they did release something though of course.

Why people come here even though the band don't release records?
I think there's a couple of factors that influence it. One, The Sisters are big enough to have quite a few fans who are real flesh and blood people with various opinions, and they are enough to keep the forum active all the time. But at the same time they are not as big (=overgrown) like a typical industry-slave-band, as to make the forum go all chaotic, full of newcomers and accidental or fake members as the really "big" stars' forums probably tend to be. Two, the forum is well moderated which is rather important too in my opinion. Three, the fact that the band don't release records only makes the weeding and sharing sections stronger and more active, and in my opinion it's pretty amazing that fans from all around the globe who usually don't even know one another manage to establish and keep such a thing.
Four, it's good for gossip and fresh information, some of which is valuable, some just entertaining. Five, it's a good place for comparing opinions and "food for thought", especially when one is bored at work (that's me
).

I think there are plenty of such, say, on a Rihanna forum. Me, I'm all heart and soul.
