Hello, new here

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Thanks! LOOP were such a great band weren't they? My favorite album of theirs is A Gilded Eternity. I also like the first releases by MAIN, the band Robert Hampson formed when he dissolved LOOP.

We'll have to do something about that. ;)
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I'd never heard of Loop, Main or Hair & Skin before.
I'm listening to Flametracer now for the first time.
I'm liking it.
Alot.

Thanks for turning me on to this!

They were an amazing band, really underrated.

Also, check out an awesome band called BAILTER SPACE. No connection to LOOP but they have a similar vibe:

You rock.
Thanks!

I'll get to those here in a bit;
I've put Flametracer back on again.
I think this one's going to be a keeper.
I love the bass on it.
Is he using a fretless?

I don't know what kind of guitars he used... I just know he used a huge array of different effects pedals!

Make sure you check out the BAILTER SPACE links I posted above, they were a real pioneering band that never got the recognition they deserved. Totally original sound...
