My weekend ticket was £150 and I'm not camping. Day tickets are £45. In previous years there have been tickets on sale in the week of the festival. I'd imagine the promoter's warnings about not being able to guarantee day tickets this year may be due to the Big Four playing on Friday which is likely to be pretty popular.

I'll go for a day ticket. Especially if Sissies and Motorhead are on the same night.

If they are available.Don't think they'll be on sale till much nearer the event, depending on sales. As has been mentioned,I think most people will want to go for the friday for Metallica/Slayer/Megadeth/Anthrax and not sunday for bloody Slipknot ! So the organisers will want to flog lots of weekend tickets first. And on the saturday the headliner is Biffy Clyro ! :?: :urff:

omfg. Motorhead are on my "must see" list and I can't see them in Brighton due to a severe allergy to their lighting AND its my birthday on the 8th.

Lets see. £196 for a ticket (dun forget the postage), £12 for a locker, and if I get them early enough in advance, £45 for a return train ticket from the coast...

That leaves me with needing a tent. Oh and some food.

If I come into a couple of grand anytime soon, I'll get a teepee. A girl can dream.

Reading in 1991 was awesome, but I just don't have the funds for this, plus I've had my fix.

If I can get together with a group of others, I'll be up for going - mainly because I can't go on my own, being unfamiliar with festivals and because I need keeping an eye on.

Anyone got a really big tent?
