Hardly. Jerry is more like Mick Taylor than Keith (so Mick and, erm, Mick) . He was merely one Hired Hand of many who helped with the meisterplan, in his case for a mere eighteen months out of thirty years (and counting).

Maybe giving Wayne 'The Gift' has another homoerotic, sub culture context that we've all missed till now.. Time for a new thread

Giving Wayne "The Gift" ... :notworthy: ...

Did you ever employ that sort of "revenge"? I don't think it has any sexual allusions. As far as I know, it is the very last resort of self-defence, though, in situations of entire repression from ... who, Wayne? Who? Thanks.

Well, of course one can forgive in the sense of ok now, and saying hi. But trust?
Trust is a gift ... if you give it away, you gotta make the whole way you were spared as some sort of advance on your very own feet ... in case you really wanna ...

Homoerotic? Well, no sorry, just human.

Really ? According to Wikipedia, he has only one songwriting co-credit. The analogy from the Wiki I like is Keith Richards shouting at him during recording "You're really good live, man, but you're f***ing useless in the studio".

Wayne has recently been answering questions from posters over on the MWIS & here was a response to a question, about his thoughts on the current day Sisters.

So that's a maybe on the 30th anniversary F&L&A re-union tour then Wayne?
Well. Wayne knew that it would trig some of the hardcore sisters fans. And it did.
Anyway...In a way, even if it´s not a good thing to say here maybe, as some cannot take critic against Andrew, I sort of agree with Wayne. I wish I didn´t. I used to love the Sisters. A lot, I might add. From 1984 till 1991 they were a cultband and they grew bigger and bigger without losing their image and wish to renew themself every tour. From Brixton Academy where I saw them together 2 night in a row with 4900 fans to Roundhouse later this year, or from Annexet in the Globe arena with 2300 to the s**t Mejeriet later this year with 900 (if it is sold out which I doubt it will be, they couldn´t get 700 to come to their show at KB, 15 minutes from this venue in 2006). The reason they play smaller an smaller venues are because they, nowadays, are........ s**t.... With that said, I must add that I will see them in Lund anyway. Cause once they were so good that it seems no matter how much Andrew mumbles, no matter how low the volume is, no matter how much smoke they use, and no matter what songs they play (it will be pretty same setlist as last time, of course), and, finally, no matter if they ever will release more records (which they won´t) I am still in love with the name "The Sisters Of Mercy".
see u in lund!

Exactly, still in love with a name..... with the occasional spark. I think this is why audiences keep coming (me included).

And yes, for me 2006 in Cologne was the worst gig ever and it ever will be!!!
Although This Corrosion and some other songs were great, even then ...

But all of this is half a decade ago ... and fortunately, sometimes, all living creatures develop ...

You will get reviews. Unfortunately Mejeriet is one of the worst venues for this kind of concerts....... Not only is it small, there is a small dancefloor in front of the stage and behind that a sort of balcony, not really but almost, hard to explain, anyway a second level where you are not able to see much.... Okey for small shows with a seating audience but not for Sisters....
