Maybe I'll do this one. Never been in Belgrade.
I think it will be the same "strange" experience like Nickelsdorf last year.
Also some kind of After midnight show, hardly any Sisters shirts, but a lot of other people who wanted to learn something more about a certain band called The Sisters of Mercy. Could have been an REM audience. Which is nice as well ...
Waiting a couple of weeks for any other summer festival gigs. If there would be very few then I'll do it ...

Belgrade is indeed an experience...we drove down from Budapest to Belgrade for a TON gig in 2007..what a trip! anyhow wrote to my friend there to find out more. I really need to get my Sisters fix for this year and possibly more than one gig so also waiting for other announcements before we make any decisions

Hmmm..."after midnight show" - is this the old goff stereotype thing again ??
I see :von: is described as "charismatic" on the festival website. Interesting choice of word - perhaps a euphemism for invisible and inaudible ?

I´m seriously thinking about this gig. Hope more summer festivals to be confirmed before booking. If I can afford it I´ll be there.

As usual, I got up quite early this morning, and I thought "why waiting any longer to book for Belgrade Calling". So I did (at least one of my very good friends did the work I'm supposed to do). Concert ticket and flight Brussels-Belgrade is booked. Next week checking out for some Serbian dinnars. Anybody else going ? Come one Domingo and Katalin and al the other people I know. I know you all want to. Just do it ! Yes Frederik, you too !! By the way, Faith No More is splendid as well.
Hoping now for more summer festivals.
Meanwhile, while we're waiting for the next one to arrive ...
Kind regards to everybody reading Heartland.

No, it's the German Lufthansa (Deutsche Gründlichkeit :)), with one stop in Frankfurt, both away and return flight, but with only approx 1u30 waiting in between, 'cause for family reasons I have to be back in Belgium as soon as possible. So it's OK.

Blinking heck that's a great line-up, and a pretty tempting one. 3 days of top music with The Sisters last up on Sunday, almost too good to miss. Hmm...

I ordered at www.eventim.rs and marked "DHL sent at home".
Cost for this : approx. 18 euro. Very cheap for feeling comfortable to be sure I got the ticket.
Kind regards, Steven - Belgium.

Done, thanks! Involves a hardcore 5 in the a.m. flight outta Belgrade Saturday morning though. What could possibly go wrong?! They better play Far Parade or launch the new album.

Belgrade is supposed to be pretty awesome at night so if you're not planning to get any sleep after the gig before your flight I'll be looking to stay out late partying. I've got a 6am flight on the Sunday, terrible times for flights out of that place.
