Adrenochrome/Body Electric XXX

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

these lines seem to be the reason they cant play this song anymore.

But they're all past-tense - making them more relevant now than they ever were at the time.... :innocent:

Updated ? You want updated ?

I like the description : The Sisters of Mercy excellent Adrenochrome tinged with Bauhaus' seminal Dark Entries served on a bed of trip'n'bass to an extraordinary display of dancing. Cover, a tribute, an absurdity. No goths were hurt in the making of this video.

I've advised my wife that if it ever comes down to a difficult life or death decision in intensive care, she should - as a last chance at resuscitation - play Adrenochrome prior to any reckless plug pulling!
@bangles Found this online and thought of you ! If ever things do get hairy health-wise, this extended version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jNEbuPay_k might keep the chest compressions going a little longer. It's got to be worth using instead of the Bee Gees' Staying Alive. I'm surprised no-one's pressed this up as a mega-rare (ie fake) CNT 12" promo with pic sleeve scaled up from the original - probably being pressed up in Greece as we speak.

How positively life affirming - in so many ways! I'll must put it on a disc and carry it around like a donor card... Actually, no wait - that would give mixed signals... :notworthy:

THIS!

Has Eldo ever said why he doesn't perform the song any more?

That version with the dancing is hilarious! Love it!

I gave up on the extended version after 0:34 when I noticed a clunky edit. (Also the intro seems to go on and on and I got bored.) I made my own extended version a long time ago using nothing but a double tape deck and careful use of the pause button. Don't laugh! The edits are so good you'd never find them!

Body Electric. No question.
