Some great ideas here. Good luck to all those with life-changing plans. My own resolutions are more prosaic :

1) drink less - dryathlon should help me get off to a good start !
2) exercise more (and not give up after two weeks like I normally do)
3) post more regularly on my TSOM blog (no entries since last July  )
4) obsess less about trivial matters such as football (ongoing resolution since about 1978)
5) stop referring to TSOM as "the Girls/Gurlz" etc as it really annoys a lot of people here (thanks for the PMs !)
6) erm, that's it, although I like the sound of that "be more patient with my wife and kids" one. Perhaps 2013 will be the year when they finally recognise the true genius of :von: !

They better be quick then... in Sisters terms 1 year is like before breakfast  :innocent:

Has anyone calculated "Sisters years" in the same way as cat years & dog years?
What's the equation?
:D

I always call them 'The Sisters' which confuses people as I only have one sister and she's not in the band, as far as I'm aware...

1) Do not get into arguments over the internet. Seriously not worth the effort.
2) Avoid reading the news. It's never mood elevating.
3) Spend more time with the girlfriend and boyfriend.
4) Not yell at the kitten when he treads poo over the kitchen.
5) Polish up my Finnish so I can understand the mother-in-law when she visits.
6) Spend more time in the countryside.

Interesting... Do tell?

I have a Finnish auntie, myself, but I've not seen her in decades. :(

Good question but also a bit hard to set up a concrete list (at least for me personally), as some things are pretty comprehensive and hard to concretize...but I will try:

1. Getting on with myself in a better way/treating myself better (which includes: living a little less excessive, find more time to relax and slow down, improve my self confidence, learn to be more patient and some other things...)
2. Finishing my audio book and releasing it
3. Driving licence
4. Travel alot, get to know many interesting people and explore unknown territory
5. Get my tattoos finished

(There are some other, less superficial, things of course but they'd be a little too personal to post them here, I guess.)

Obviously become the total Renaissance Man AND obtain complete Self Actualisation as well as finish up my Polish

On a more more mundane level - watch the TV less and consume literature more. I have only read "A Scanner Darkly" so I hope to be getting to grips with a lot more Dick.

Didn't someone have that as a resolution near the start of this thread??

Good luck with that, especially with Andrew and the word 'goth' lol
arte has a tv format where they film a day with two artists.
a day with andrew and carl would be a highlight.
they both start with talking about their moments when they realized that a lot of people started following.

Not much to say, I'm greedy, and they're both borad-minded. Plus, I'm a lot cuddlier in reality than online! :P

That's a shame, Finland is a lovely country, if a bit quiet. Plus it has the best chocolate in the world. I'm kind of pleased the Merkins took over Cadbury, as now I don't have to defend icky British chocolate!

A good friend of mine lives in Zürich and - visiting him quite alot - I can tell, that Swiss chocolate certainly is the most enjoyable chocolate EVER! :notworthy:
