Nope! My image of him is totally blown. Perhaps it was only a rental... ;D
Ye gods, I hope so!

Check your PM's, lass.

What's wrong with Subaru? he could always drove Jaguar, just like Nick. But I guess that The Jag is much more fancy and cool car. More r'n'r'.

Nothing. They're well-built, reliable vehicles. I know, because my dad drives one... :P

Aye, he did try to pull a Disappearing act.

Ok, that was rather sad, admittedly. :|

'Cuffs You Up. The sad thing is that when you approach the kind of age that PM or :von: have, your requirements for a car kind of change, and things like the Subaru Forester start to appeal. Ease of access to front seat, cruise control, room in the boot for those trips to the garden centre/golf clubs/dropping Junior off at the Halls of Residence, handy glovebox compartment for your alleged stash of crystal meth ...

Bleurgh! And pfffft! :urff:

If I'm lucky enough to live to a ripe old age, I'll still probably be driving some cheap-ass old rustbucket, and I'll *still* be pining for the muscle cars that I'll never be able to afford.

Punky grannies unite! \m/  :P

I should have mentioned that PM's Facebook page states that he has been released and that charges have been reduced from "felonies" to "misdemeanours". So apparently the UK leg of the tour is still on. Today's Guardian contains a quote from DCD's Brendan Perry In 2010 saying that PM is "a sandwich short of a picnic" so he may have had mental health issues for some time :(

Well meth won't really help matters then.

The article states that he takes pills regularly for depression. I'm not a doctor but I can say that Meth probably isn't going to help that at all.

Yeah, and he definitely should know by now ... Image ... silly ...

and even more silly was trying to escape the fact there was an accident ...

But hell, even artists have a right to panic reaction ... ...

that's interesting to note, I was wondering about the UK tour as so looking forward to that and have bought tickets to see him in Bristol...

i would be more concerned about Brendan Perry opinion about his mental state. I mean if it's true that it's just sad.
And according to FB statement:
The amount of Alcohol in Peters Bloodstream was measured at 0.01 way under the 0.08 which is legal. This is the lowest amount of alcohol that is able to register on a breathalyser.
So it was harsh from me to say that he was DUI and that he was stupid. (Even in Poland he couldn't get charged by that- DUI.) And taking a fact that "Peter was released with with no bail or restrictions", it's unlikely that he had this meth (but i don't know California criminal law practice on such matter, i'm simply guessing).

Maybe he didn't want to wreck the Jag.

"When I'm out drinking, I always take the Sub." - "The subway? Yes, very smart." - "No, the Subaru."

This was what I found most disturbing

"Murphy denied drinking alcohol that day, adding that he had taken only his regular prescription pills for depression, according to police."

The godfather of goth shouldn't be taking pills for depression. It is Wrong.
