The Sisters in real life

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

It's quite hard in Hungary to slip something in a conversation (what with Dalek being the lingo).

Among a squad of over-competing sports collegues (all guys as it was):

Just got off the phone to my (somewhat flaky) ISP.
They had an English support line & I was complaining about how my speed had dropped over the past few days.
Managed to squeeze "this, this is the way it was. This, this is the way it is" into the conversation.
The girl did pause slightly.
Anyway, one firmware update later & I hear the roar of the big machine now.
Might call back & tell her that too.
Cheers.

Some one did say ' its a small world ' to me last night to which i gave the appropiate 'and it smells funny' response - he then said ' i knew you'd say that' Perplexed look from me until he pointed at my reptile house shirt

I did once say "with the fire from the firewall up above me" one time the firewall crashed.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

"Incoming!"  could be applied to all sorts of situations of course but I use it as code textspeak to someone who also has the 'knowledge' to signify a more in depth email is on its way to discuss something etc!! Depending on where he is in the world we change it to the appropriate lingo!!! At the moment it is 'Entrantes'!!

Haha.
I fondly recall the School's Out meetup in 2007.
Just about everyone's SMS alert was "incoming!"

We live in Atlanta, GA, but fairly often find ourselves in Cumming. http://maps.google.com/maps?oe=UTF-8&hl ... CCwQ8gEwAA

Remembered with fondness here too. You'd hear "incoming" go off and everyone would reach for their phones.

Most of the Ladies I've ever slept with have said to me "I want MORE" when I've bedded them....but it's more an indictment about the size of my penis than my sexual prowess

"Lipstick on my cigarette" happened today.

Although, it might have been intentional

I kept repeating "Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah You Could Be The One" to all the girls at my school when I was in my teens... to no avail, I might add.

That's why I despise the song so much nowadays, I guess ;)

"Go figure!" is something I say pretty often, when the situation is appropriate. ;D
