You don't need a Kindle. You can download the free Kindle app and read it on your PC, laptop etc. Print edition's still several weeks away just cos of the timescales involved.

Well, after much thought and a talk with a friend, I think I've sussed out how to make the whole unsocial networking thing work for me. So, to my deep shame and embarrassment, I now have a Farcebook fanpage. I had planned to keep it quiet until I had a proper profile photo (shoot on Tuesday) but it's slipped out so I may as well give everyone the link now. If you're already au fait with the Farcebook thing then you'll know what to do (unlike me - I haven't the foggiest). If you're not already a part of it then there's still hope for you. Run before it's too late!

I do indeed do origami. It's something I first started years ago but I've properly got into it since quitting smoking; it gives me something to do with my hands.

I tend to do mine in phases. Haven't done any for a while but will probably use it as therapy once all the madness of trying to pretend that I'm a successful writer has died down.

Are you saying that you don't do ebooks and are waiting for the print copy? The proof copy should arrive next week. Assuming I approve it there and then, I think it goes on sale a couple of weeks later. So hopefully the first week of May but still TBC.

And there will be a competition to win a signed copy. (Yes, I feel a fraud saying that but this is the sort of stuff you have to do.)

I will most certainly buy it when released in hardcopy I look forward to it.

If anyone fancies having a go at a translation then feel free. Cos I'm afraid that's what you'll be doing it for: free. If I had the cash to pay for a translation (and I really wish I did) then I'd also pay for professional typesetting, formatting etc. But in the DIY spirit, I seriously wouldn't object if anyone took it upon themselves to do a translation. Of course, I'm leaving myself open to all sorts of hi-jinks and merry japes there.
