THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I'd agree with to an extent with the tiresome accusation - although I suspect that the point being made is that Mr Pegg's character never grew up and out - either of wanting to consume heroic amounts of beer, or of the "dodgy darkling" phase. Speaking with the benefit of perspective, and in the comfort of knowing that they happened more than half a lifetime ago, I will admit to having had a few dodgy darkling moments myself. I'm not embarrassed by them anymore, but I'd be mortified if the pictures (fortunately from the Age Before Digital, and only slightly after the invention of the portable lumigraphiumopticon) ever saw the light of day.
Perhaps Mr. Wright's purpose is encourage us to hold a mirror up to ourselves.

Agree with Markfiend about Simon Pegg. I frankly couldn't stand him until all this Sisters talk. I've mellowed slightly since (yes, I'm a sucker).
Paul is possibly one of the worst films I've ever seen. I only managed to get through Shaun Of The Dead all the way through once and I can't watch the new Star Trek's with him as Scotty.
I might give this World's End lark a watch on a bootleg or something. Maybe.
“I got lost in the mirror, wondering what could have been, I couldn’t help but kill her, but I couldn’t kill the dream.”
It sure is weird seeing posters of Sisters shirts all over London underground!
I wonder if it'll catch on? If the film is a success we could see a Ramones style adoption of the Head & Star.
Eldritch would be wise to at least get that design printed officially. At the moment I think the only place you can find the "M R" shirt is Camden market!

Ha I tweeted the almost exact thing when I saw a bus drive past in London with the Sisters tee bold as brass in the movie ad...
