In defence of the Moz I would like to point out that by being an obstinate arse quite often he manages to maintain his role as the antithesis of the modern successful musician. Despite being polar opposites for the most part him and Eldritch do share something in that respect.

I was supposed to see Moz in november 2013. Show was cancelled (logistical problems).

Replacement show was planned for march 2014. On the morning of the show had terrible flu and could nt go. (no takers for the tickets- €70) On the following night he cancelled the second show because he had flu.

Thats the last time I'm not going to not see Morrissey.

To be fair to Morrissey despite his unfortunate tendency to say really stupid things these days wasn't there rumours of Cancer tests or a cancer scare recently? I know he has diva like qualities but maybe that's a reason for all the cancellations...

I declared Morrissey to be dead to me not longer after The Smiths split, and I've never listened to any of his solo albums, purely out of spite. I'm glad that as time has passed, I've been proved increasingly correct on that stance.

(Similar with Paul Weller - I still haven't forgiven him for breaking up The Jam. Weller is nowhere near the cnut that Morrissey is though.)

Your being over generous Mark, The Jam were s**t, the Style Council were s**t, Stanley Road was s**t, and spelling "sonik" like this is the ultimate in utter, utter s**t. Not sure if that makes him a cnut though.
