Union itself has super cheap bar prices! Students will be away home by then (apart from me. I just love studying. Aye.)

My favorites within easy walking distance are the Empire (lovely old music hall) and Filthy McNastys - awesome beer garden, nice range of drinks, quirky decor, sometimes outdoor BBQ. The Hudson has whisky, ales and funky music into the wee small hours but its more of a trek. Not far away theres the Cathedral quarter, lots of fab little haunts to check out there

Be weird seeing them in Belfast! Get a taxi down to the Cathedral quarter if you want decent drinks, lots of decent bars down there. If you want an average pint where you're not gonna get hassle from the local spides for wearing black then head to Laverys or filthys just down the road.

Awesome! :notworthy:

Pints shall be drunken,
Sh-te shall be spoken,
A Sisters day, a Mercy day,
And the Seven Shades of Shiva Rises!

Amazing gig! Great atmosphere, band and crowd really up for it. It was up there with Leamington Spa for surprise rock'n'rollness, Andrew said he hopes they get asked to come back. I hope so.

Oh. Should have said.... what a funking stormer that was!!!

It occurs to me, that with all the sometime negative that can occur around here about the current incarnation, it gets lost just what an awesome live act, these Sisters can be!
