Psychocandy shows in November

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Their first visit to Greece was in 1991, and they were absolutely fantastic! Still one of my top-3 gigs ever!

Aye, was out the door and into Tickets Scotland within about 5 minutes of hearing there'd be a second date.
Gonna be a good night, I'll need to nab a few pairs of earplugs from work.

...Haven't got tickets as skint, but hoping it leads to more next year.

Saw them in 86 at newcastle mayfair - what a night!
A mate stayed at the pub over the road for one more pint than us and missed the whole gig - all twenty minutes of it!
I'll never forget his face as he walked down the stairs towards us heading out.

yup, loved last night :)

the support band were also very cool - a very angry, very loud and very raw young scottish band called the amazing snakeheads

their album "amphetamine ballads" is on spotify

http://open.spotify.com/album/2xQ9eRrntKJKVVvA7s1z1z

the singer's ability to switch between talking, crooning, shouting and absolute howling was very jim morrison (albeit with an impenetrable scottish accent), while the overall noise was very swamp bluesy birthday party. :notworthy:

Yeah, great band! More about attitude than songs, but the sounds are just incredible :D
