Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

On a proper Gary Numan trip at the moment.
Also, I'm sure I'm not the only person to have notice that Trent Reznor has built an entire career copying (erm I mean inspired by) Numan.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

I watched a repeat of the Re-invention documentary the other day & Trout featured quite heavily.

For some weird reason and I've no idea why I got Skinny Head stuck in my Internal Jukebox yesterday. I'd only ever had the Ditch Dweller V EP (for obvious reasons) and went looking for more on YT. Liked what I heard, one purchase later.markfiend wrote:Blast from the past! I saw Creaming Jesus a couple of times. I had a "skin up 4 jesus" t-shirt too, in a wonderful orange.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I saw two really good live gigs from the German Deichbrand festival on tv today: Triggerfinger and Frank Turner.
I have to admit, I hadn't listened to either of them before very much, but the gigs very really great
I have to check their records soon, because I think I missed something

Kommt Zeit,
kommt Rat,
kommt Attentat.
kommt Rat,
kommt Attentat.
I went off this album a while back because, well, all the synths and stuff, but I've got back into it recently. It's all overblown guff really but, bloodyhell, there's enough conviction to make it a damn good listen.
