2 benched and 5 bookings. cards cost me 6 points right there as 1 was my captain. Could have had another 5 from the subs made.
Do managers not KNOW that people get another point if their player plays 60 mins? one of mine was off after 57. sheesh.

I can only assume he thought Ivanovich used the force to bring down Di Maria.
My thoughts exactly. That sending off costs points plus he loses out on the clean sheet he would have got if they'd still had 11 on the pitch. Gutting

Whenever I sign a new striker he stops scoring goals
I have a similar reverse effect - ditch a striker and he starts scoring. Happened with Bony twice yesterday, and my old friends Ings and Adebayor on the score-sheet today. Needless to say I also have Ivanovic in my team and have dropped a further place in the table as a result.

v low scoring this week, unless qpr and villa players abound in everyone else's team for tomorrow.

yep ivanovitch's gift has turned sour, losing me 2pts as he was my captain. 30 points only this week, still up a place but undoubtedly that will be cancelled by tomorrows game which i have no participants in.
@
pista -your striker theory is alive and well over here.

I kept Diego Costa on in the end... and he didn't play again. So I'm waiting on points from Hutton tonight to make up my week's team. Still, I look like keeping hold of 5th spot this week (And top in my works league)

50% chance, away at ManU
I'm risking that he'll get a game...
Sorry
I've had a very low scoring week.
Liverpool fail to save me again
One game left and it'll probably give me a minus as Villa go down to QPR

Without wanting to risk the kiss of death, I don't think QPR stand a chance this evening.

Quiet Steven! As long as Vlaar makes 57 tackles and scores eight I'm happy ... .. .
No hang on, almost happy, I don't do happy.
STEVEN!! This is your fault!!

The pencil needs a new owner.
I managed to crawl up to 50 points thanks to Vlaar actually turning up. Just four points off the top, I think.

I think that you and I currently share what was known (in the words of a song beloved of John Peel by the Wolfhounds IIRC) as the anti-Midas touch.

all complete and 8 points below average and still up a place....but only to 15th.
edit: can someone explain why ivanovic isn't automatically suspended after getting sent off? thanks.

I am pure catastrophe... Utter disgrace for TCC-team...
It must be my visit to Heidelberg triggered the opening of this black hole I am now falling into deeper and deeper... Mertesacker on the bench with six points, while Ivanovic is getting red card on his debut in my team - that was real peak of everything! Now, I will finally switch to Southampton... and most probably ruin their so-far-fantastic-season...

I think if it had been a straight red, he'd have been automatically suspended.
This sending off was for 2 yellows. Players are given up to 5 cautions between season start & year end before they are suspended for one game.
I'm still baffled at why RVP never got a card for taking his shirt off after scoring.
That's supposed to be an automatic yellow.
