yeah, I assumed the original question was hypothetical.
It was the intention to not mention the project, people have a tendency to put me down when I do so I tend not to tell people about it until it's done. Von quotes will be used in the script, probably not going to be using pre recorded stuff though, we just need to find a good enough.Nikolas Vitus Lagartija wrote:@LyanvisAberrant I don't think anyone realised from your original post that this was an actual project, rather than a theoretical fantasy, hence some of the more flippant answers. Looking forward to seeing the trailer. Will you be using quotes for the voice-over ?
i certainly assumed this was a wishful-thinking, hypothetical pie-in-the-sky post of the sort we are often forced to ponder due to the bands lack of actua activity and therefore hasten to apologise for my earlier flippancy...in no way would i want to run down or belittle anyone with genuine creativity with regard to projects based around Our Hero(es).Nikolas Vitus Lagartija wrote:@LyanvisAberrant I don't think anyone realised from your original post that this was an actual project, rather than a theoretical fantasy, hence some of the more flippant answers. Yeah, it's the only way to do it with good humour like UTR XIV ...mh wrote:And likewise.eastmidswhizzkid wrote:i certainly assumed this was a wishful-thinking, hypothetical pie-in-the-sky post of the sort we are often forced to ponder due to the bands lack of actua activity and therefore hasten to apologise for my earlier flippancy...in no way would i want to run down or belittle anyone with genuine creativity with regard to projects based around Our Hero(es).Nikolas Vitus Lagartija wrote:@LyanvisAberrant I don't think anyone realised from your original post that this was an actual project, rather than a theoretical fantasy, hence some of the more flippant answers. But I still stand over what I said in my first replies - the kind of AE biopic I'd want to see is one that documents a transformation from a (semi-fictional) safari-suited diplomat to a (semi-finctional?) wasted meth-addled R'n'R fiend, and let the truth go hang.
If you could afford him, it sounds as if Tom Hiddleston could be your man, according to this review of a recent Jim Jarmusch film http://standardissuemagazine.com/arts/films-year/.LyanvisAberrant wrote: we just need to find a good enough.
In my (in my dreams) Andrew Eldritch bio pic Kevin Bacon plays Von. I think he could look the part with a bit of make up and I believe he could capture Von's sense of humour. I have a notebook of ideas, I'd be happy to contribute them if you're prepared to make that call to Mr Bacon.LyanvisAberrant wrote:It was the intention to not mention the project, people have a tendency to put me down when I do so I tend not to tell people about it until it's done. I've been wondering when someone would suggest Hiddleston.Nikolas Vitus Lagartija wrote:If you could afford him, it sounds as if Tom Hiddleston could be your man, according to this review of a recent Jim Jarmusch film http://standardissuemagazine.com/arts/films-year/.LyanvisAberrant wrote: we just need to find a good enough.
Ha, I bet he sometimes would have loved to show an appearance like this at a time. *** Like many a boy and a girl in a way... ...rien wrote:As long as you don't make him look like this:

Bowie definitely had the right sort of humour to make it, even in the worst scenes ... ...EvilBastard wrote:David Bowie as

I was going to go with Iggy Pop in the lead role, but he'd need to lose a few pounds to portray in his earlier years...Nikolas Vitus Lagartija wrote:You are and I claim my £5.EvilBastard wrote:David Bowie as

Well, now you've got the important roles taken care of, everything else should slot into place with little effort.LyanvisAberrant wrote:...and we have our spiggy.
OK. That sounds good! ...I'm looking forward to the results, so best of luck from here, too... ...LyanvisAberrant wrote:...
Alright, well, this is the project.
It's called The Damage Done, it's gonna be 10 - 15 minutes long, It's about the formation of the sisters, and the time up till Ben Gunn left.
