I'm playing the UFPL game (#1068) and I've got Wilson (RC) and JWP (RC) in my starting 11. I can't remove them.

i sold sterling and bought coutinho during the week and set my team - or so i thought. something's gone wrong or i didn't press enough buttons or summat. ARSE.
at least i tried to.

not the first time this year that weaselwhiskers and all-bright-on-the-night have justified my selecting them -10 and 11 pts respectively today. to be fair, i had an inkling city would slaughter newcastle at home cuz they always have (one of the few profesional games i've attended was leicester 3-0 newcastle over 30 years ago). to further justify my brilliant tactical decision, barahinho and bertrand -who i benched in favour of the leicester boys- scored 3 between them. pffft. they're both going next week, so i can bring back austin for the run-in.

so 30 points so far, and kane, aguero and 3 chelskis still to trot.

FPL is never over until the Fat Lady sings. As per my OP EIB can still catch us with a +148 GW differential this GW, and on the next three GWs. We keep our powder dry, and potential celebrations muted. Plus, I've still got to write the GW37 thread.

OptaJohn: The highest GW differentials this season have both come from IGM. GW8 +154 and GW22 +104. Sorted.

Sounds like sound advice. After all, there are other things to celebrate this weekend (such as the sheep not making the play-offs - sorry Hom !).

Hom's having a difficult footie season - in reality and fantasy - but as mentioned in my OP, if me and Pista can't find him a spot in Dollar vs. Bucks Fizz, he's 100% guaranteed a place in The Krankies vs. Cannon and Ball inter forum trophy next season.
