THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Accommodation seems clearly more difficult.
I see a couple of rooms are still free at around 100€ including breakfast in Tienen if anyone's interested. Personally I'm not yet ready to shell out several hundreds of euros to go to Tienen for one gig unless I know they most likely will play something new.

I guess we are looking at the standard summer detour of festival in Belgium-Germany-third country?

And that would suit me equally fine. :D
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Yes, and if you're not driving it makes sense to get somewhere in or as near to Tienen as possible. Last time, we made the mistake of staying in Brussels thinking we'd be able to get a train back after the gig, but they stopped hours to early. End up getting Taxi back was pretty expensive - but the gig was worth it. Good Things - great times!

I thought it was funny that the TSOM tweet came on the same day that The Wicked And The Divine 10 came out, which had one character "at his Eldritchest" ^^

I'm still hoping for non-festival dates...

Aha, I thought it was an abbreviation of a venue.
Well it was, but I was assuming it was more specific.

If this was the only date I'd expect it to be on the official site by now.

In the past they have avoided piecemeal updates to the website with individual gig updates, preferring instead to add them in batches to allow people to better plan their travels around a group of dates, or to be more selective about which gigs they chose to go to.

I'm assuming that the lack of any site update for Suikerrock so far means they are planning more dates - presumably festivals, given their habit of alternating between festivals & proper tours in previous years.

Watch that space, as the saying goes...
