THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Definitely not the volume of traffic. I'm a longtime member of MWIS, and latterly the forum was dead and the main topic of conversation was "where is everyone?" (Answer: Facebook and Twitter. Most forums are dead these days as people have migrated to social media. Heartland's far more active than most in my experience.) There's definitely still interest in the Mish, but closing the forum was nothing to do with volume of traffic... unless you mean lack of volume.
I like the way Wayne has embraced Facebook of late. It's good to keep your fans up to date with your plans. Von could learn a thing or two about that.
I now await the standard response of Wayne is wrong and it is good not to know what will be happening with The Sisters.

Is it? Isn't it just the "tolerated by them cos they don't really care either way" forum?

there are avenues of discussion which would elucidate what i've said but if it was meant to be "out there" in general it would be. PM to you sir.
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.

I noticed an update from last month: it's available for pre-ordering now.
Of course the single will be available to purchase at the shows on my solo April tour – dates below – but if for some unearthly reason you can’t make it to any of the dates then you can pre-order it from our online shop at http://the-m*****n.tmstor.es priced £6.99. There is also a new tour dates t-shirt available (see design below) priced at £22.50. We are also offering a bundle of single & t-shirt for £25. Please be aware that the single release is strictly limited to 1000 copies and there are no plans to release it digitally although My Love Will Protect You will be available at a later date as part of the Canciones De Cuna 2 album.
Of course you can also support Record Store Day and order the 7 vinyl through your local record shop by using this catalogue number – CAT No.: EWSR EP003.
And don’t forget, I am out playing a short tour in April with very special guest, and one of my current faves, Evi Vine supporting me (ticket info here: http://www.songkick.com/artists/1214521-wayne-hussey)
