Mrs ruffers says he had a stroke. Apparently Saturday Kitchen was painfully sad to watch, so she didn't. And she watches the whole thing every week.

Apparently the slurred speech is due to a swollen tongue. Also suffering from back problems. And he had heart surgery after his collapse.

Yup, didn't look at all well. He didn't stand, was slumped at the end of the bench, had his food cut for him
