Auntie who's in a care home had a Dementia test. She was reluctant to do the test and she said to the Doctor "Are you checking to see if I'm Barmy" Made me chuckle because she has spirit!!! :lol:

:lol: My Auntie Edith was like that. She used to call the people in the home who did have dementia "the poor old dotty dears".

Still being able to play Chopin piano pieces from memory at the age of 105 is pretty impressive.

That's Amazing. My Auntie also has no tolerance for other sufferers from Dementia. She likes her home because she thinks she's there for free!! Haven't got the heart to tell her she pay's £1,000 per week!!

Wow, Chopin at any age is impressive but 105 is truly remarkable.

Hopefully your aunt doesn't have dementia Elamanamou, it's not inevitable that all older people do. My mum would have been impatient with other residents too when she went into care first, some were playing with dolls and prams and that really bothered her at first.
