Then again, if it would've been at any larger venue I know there's a lot of people who would not have been interested. Me included. Pustervik would've been the perfect place or Truckstop Alaska.

Even if they (he) care(s) much less about live recordings nowadays, I just cannot imagine that you or anyone else would get a confirmation that it is ok to film the gig. Chris is the easiest one to get in contact of those who have any decision power, but I would expect a rather cold answer even from him as well when it comes to filming. He'd probably tell you to enjoy the gig instead of filming it, if I know him right.
I have the same thoughts. The band does mind. From memory they actually have a couple of heavies at the side of the stage actively searching for tapers & filmers (& I don't mean the phone jockeys). If you're going to film or tape, then stealth is a must.
The band doesn't mind filming? First thing heard that, everytime, when it was club/venue gig, i was searched for camera(s), everytime i heard the same: that's the band wish to check this.

I think venues' standard policy is to not allow recording or filming. It's almost always printed somewhere on the ticket.
There are bands that tolerate open taping & I assume they will let the door staff know that.
I even remember Hussey (with Da Mish), back in 1990, saying, "What the heck? As long as you don't rock up with pro gear, fill yer boots."
Never heard any such statement from The Sisters though.

Yes, of course, always venues and promoter restrict from recording (any ways) gig/shows, but only at TSOM gig i heard from door staff that is The Band wish to check whether audience is not bringing professional camera or/and up above some certain parameters of equipment.

Body and Soul was awesome, although I feel the song would have benefited from a live bass from Ben more then the digital bass line.
