ok, have changed the CHAT thing slightly:

1st - i have slowed the page reload/refresh rate down to 10 seconds. it was reloading every 5 seconds, but phpmychat uses 10 secs and that seemed a little nicer on the eyes, so... its slower, but thats the price you pay.

2nd - i reversed the way it shows messages - iot now scrolls upwards - new messages appear at the top. it take a bit of getting used to but it does mean that the thing doiesnt ahev to keep whizzing down to teh bottom every time it releads, so again its easier on the eyes...

it does however mean that in the chat "preview window" on the front page you nwo need to scroll to the bottom in order to log in, but you cant have it both ways ;)

anyways, have a play and let me know what you think :)

its 1 Am - I tried to join "Chat" - 3 members were "Chatting" and I could not join! - Is there a limit on how many people can chat at any one time?

Dude...my chat window closed on its own, and now it won't log me out even though I logged out of Heartland and closed my browser...so everytime I hit "join chat" I get a duplicate error window! WTF?!

@ CorpPunk - I was having exactly the same problem - I even closed my browser - nothing worked - then I logged out of "my heartland" - logged back in - after 5 minutes and that worked!

Perhaps QB needs to hace a fiddle ;-)
