THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Makes me remember, when the 1985 split happened, that Waynetta Husshead moaned that Von was listening to Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks, whereas Hussey and Adams were listening to Motorhead. So apparently, Von wanted to record some woossy soft-rock stuff, whereas the m*****n were going to ROCK HARD!!!
Hummmm...which of the aforementioned artistes went on to record Doctor Jeep, Vision Thing, Ribbons and Lucretia, and which went on to record Butterfly on a Wheel, Hands Across the Ocean, some crud called You Make me Happy, and stuff I just couldn't even listen to all the way through?
I also remember that it was reported (by Hussey) that VON was also listening to "Foreigner" who had a huge hit with "I Want To Know What Love Is"
