Yeah, that microwave business gave me heck of pause. Ha!
I know I know why am I admitting this openly in a public forum. It’s sacrilege (oh no now I’m quoting Mish songs). My cred is shot before you’ve even got to know me.

he's an ex-pat, far away from home and forgotten some of the rules.
cut him some slack.
Thanks boss. I have indeed been in the colonies for too long
In my defense, I’m also broke and can’t afford to pour a cuppa down the drain, cold, microwaved or otherwise

All fair excuses imho @DJElectricDaddy . All fair excuses.
While I appreciate the fine bone China and the humour intended, I feel some breach of TOS has been committed by posting TikTok content (or related)
EDIT: you’re making the correlation between me and the TikTok idiots with microwave...well played Sir, I am in low company

And my coffee or tea always get cold while I'm typing something or whatever.
Got used to it and even like the taste of it cold sometimes better than hot ... ...

That TikTok Incident was quite an Issue over here a few Months back.
As both a Sisters/Neph Fan and a Member of this Forum, you're in very HIGH Company (you just have questionable habits when it comes to Drinking Tea)

Lord Melchett had a thing for 'Flossy the Sheep in Series 2'. Being a North Yorkshire Ex-Pat now 20 years in 'Raintown' (Glasgow, Scotland) I prefer the "Iron Duke" Wellington who takes his Tea seriously, or the Noble Savage MacAdder

Wonderful. I always thought the granite bodice of McMiggins would be worn by the queen of pies (or pie shops). Anyhoo 20 yrs in Glasgee, it must be doing something for you, despite the rain. Who’d have thought the red- headed caber-tossin head-buttin Scots would represent the sensible faction of our faire isle, but here we are. Or at least, there you are
