He's always happy to sing VT (voice permitting) while the USA are doing whatever they are doing at the time, neither song is an endorsement. And he has that mic he could use to make his feelings clear if he chose.
Just seems a shame to butcher yet another song.

... but he's not at the moment. I think the point is that VT is also being removed from the list because "we've got a bigger problem now" than American imperialism.
