Just to confuse things further, I always read this site as a 'guest', as I can never be bothered signing in. (sorry. I am really REALLY lazy)
I only sign in when I want to post a message.

I suspect that perhaps some other Heartlanders do this?

I don't know if you're aware of this feature.
I was surprised (See my post above) why I didn't appear as logged in in the stats the other day.
That's because I have the cookie (loggin automatically) so the system doesn't recognise me unless I log out and log in again. Unless I do this, the System will have me logged in for weeks and weeks.

you sure? i think if you're logged in and come back, just wait afew minutes and you'll "appear"

This data is based on users active over the past five minutes

I still have no clear idea why we need a hidden option for logging in, even if it is to check PM's. I could live without it, but then again, unlike many, I sign my posts with my real name.

I use it 'cos I got bored of just seeing only my own name on the front page during the day while I was at work. And it's made people chat a bit more

And Big Si is my real name, everyone I know calls me this, even my family!
