I'm idiotically excited about tonight. My better half hasn't seen the Sisters live, so this is going to be a blast.

Wishing you all a top nite out got the Universal Ampitheater 1991 show belting outta the speakers here, getting in the mood for it despite being half a planet away in sunny Leeds. Have a great time

Hip, hip, hooray….
Excellent gig, good sound. Arms, Summer, and On the Beach made appearances. As did Terri Nunn for Temple of Love.
Off to bed more later before I go on the beach…Santa Monica to be precise.

Seriously hoping Arms makes an appearance in London or Netherlands

Wow, Terri sounded pretty good. And she is looking very well too. Nice of her to reunite with AE, even if she did make him look and sound like he was 80 by comparison...!

That would have been awesome in the 90ies. Everyone sounded great but I could not hear the "singer" Still, pretty cool.

Loved the show
Hung out on the back wall for the duration, and thought the mix was good overall (especially given how bad the acoustics are in the Palladium).
Jaw dropped when he said 'This is Arms'...
Jaw bounced off the floor when they announced Terri Nunn.
(f**k she sounded transcendent, and the contrast between Von's growl and Terri's vocal arabesques was brilliant)
Here, Caligula, Genevieve, I Will Call You, Summer, Crash & Burn and Arms were tight and delightful.
Would have loved to here Slept
Marian sounded great
Thought Von's 'growl' sounded good, & evidently he did as well, saying 'well that went better' or something to that effect at the end of the set before the encore.
Would be happy to never have Dr. Jeep and Det Blvd in a set again (but also, I'm not a fan of those songs)
There was some punter standing nearby that was loudly whining 'PLAY THE GOOD STUFF'
(I did not say 'son this IS the good stuff. #Restraint)
But man... that was a lovely show.
(The opening act though had HORRIBLE muddy mixing, and covering 'Sympathy'? No.)

Sounds like an Ez / paint it black troll to me
Glad to hear that you had a great time Rantz, especially hanging out at the back. Good to know the grooviness of the gig reached all corners, after a while (years and gigs-wise) it's easy to conclude that down the front is the best place to see the show. Arms hit me equally as a most welcome and unexpected surprise at the Roundhouse in 2019, love that chugging beauty of a song, nice one Thanks for your review, looks like your missus picked a good night to attend her first Sisters gig. Terri Nunn does not always show up, nor do On The Beach, Summer or Arms, more's the pity I'd also love to hear Slept back in the set, but not necessarily more than say Black Sail or Susanne. It's The Sisters, whatever you get, it's usually damn fine
