He DID play 'Sunspots'
And anyone who can fit the word/country Azerbijhan (I have no idea how to spell neither the inclination to find out...) into a song deserves the mantle of 'slightly unhinged rock drood.
And I won't nah, can't be drawn into a bestist song....Love, Peace & f**k has to be an anthem and a half though...tipper topper stuff!
OOOh only one more big sleep..

My personal fave is Jehovahkill, but I thinkit's been deleted?
you're probably best off starting off with one of his 'best of' albums.
I should warn you, though, once you taste the genius of Copey there's no going back!

Thanks for that. I'm afraid I'm a bit of a lapsed Copite (if thats the phrase).
I have Jehovakill/20 mothers/St Julian and Floored Genius but have lost touch. Maybe I should invest in something from the merchandiser on headheritage (?)

HeadHeritage is probably your best bet...I am of course liking Peggy Suicide, Skellington and Droolian
I don't think I've had time to mention how FUKKING FANTASTIC he was on Friday night at the Lyric. Had front row seats, he arose from the bowels beneath the stage in a cloud of smoke, spent oooh at least thirty seconds on the stage, jumped down was at one with his audience, hugged Gaz's gigging jacket (it's almost as sacred at The Arch Drood himself) then proceeded to do the gig from the middle of the stalls! He trotted off up to the circle for a meander too. Bloody typical.
The gig was EXCEPTIONAL - even Gaz who loathes the very thought of having to escort me to one of his gigs actually has written how fabulous it was!
He did play a spanking Happy 25th anniversary version of Sleeping Gas which was nice...and he even tried to cheer Gaz up with World Shut Your Mouth (unfortunately the Cope tonsils were not upto it any longer and it was all a bit eeeuuuwww)
Was sat directly infront of that good lookingy rowery bloke Tim Foster (thank feck coz he's a big 'un) he seems to be stalking me at gigs
Oh please don't make me wait another 7 years...
