Bizarre cover versions

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

No Doubt doing It's my life. Very bizarre choice. And Iggy doing 'Family Affair' with Steven Jones on Guitar. Weird.

The CD with covers of Leonard Coen songs, I'm your fan.

Same with the CD with DM covers (Rammstein - Stripped is one of the songs)

Zodiac Mindwarp - I'm Your Man (Yes, the Wham song. Nobody in the audience seemed to recognise it until the chorus, then there were little smiles of recognition and a few laughs.)

Tatu doing the Smiths' 'How Soon Is Now'.

"When asked what he thought of the girls' cover of The Smiths How Soon Is Now?, Morrissey said,"It was magnificent. Absolutely!" though admitted that he didn't know much about them!

When informed that the pair are teenage Russian lesbians, he replied: "Well, aren't we all?"

hmm.. i'd count it as a cover, in that they didn't write it and it was previously recorded by someone else.

it's all a matter of how you look at these things.

I would say the Sisters Hendrix medley, except the only recording is sh!te quality, so it's hard to judge.
