Strawberry Switchblade :-)

Those were the days - I hunted High and Low for 7" of their cover of "Jolene" - Finally found it in Berwick Street, London in 91 for £7.00! That really made my day in 'the ole smoke'!

All I need to do know is find a Best Of on CD! ;-)

true that! I think I'll harrass the DJ to give it a spin this evening.

Bah, ok......I'll take a quick look into the cassette box....a format I hate by the way.

I see the Blake Babies, Pastels, Fad Gadget, Concrete Blonde, Kraftwerk, Sheep On Drugs, Nico, Clock DVA, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Throbbing Gristle, Throwing Muses, The Cramps, The Wipers, Primitives, The Unrest, Pylon, This Mortal Coil......that just a handful from the topmost layer.

Mind you, last time I looked in 'the box in the attic full of tapes' I pulled out Mott The Hoople.

Live On Broadway 1974.
I need to hear that tape Johnny
I'll dig it out at the weekend. It is record label produced and from memory always had some slight damage (30 seconds-ish). Halfway through 'Rose' on one side and in Hunter's intro to the medley at the end but it in no way detracts from the sound. Sounds a lot heavier than the studio produced stuff. Plus I've always been happy with it as I lifted it from someone at a party many moons ago. :innocent:

Are you geek minded? Able to copy it onto CD? If so, I 've no probs sending it to you ...as long as you make me a copy. And return the original, of course.

Broadway AND Hammersmith. This is it:

Clear vinyl! Are you trying to make my brain explode! I am such a sucker for specialized ltd edition, clear and or colored vinyl records. Nice.

I saw Blancmange on their 'Happy Families' tour.... it was too long ago and too many bands ago to remember what they were like, except for 'God's Kitchen' I seem to remember that...or do I?

Blind Vision has a most excellent bass sound tho
