I own a Mazda like the one below, except mine's silver:

I've had it for 18 months and never had any problems with it. Vauxhall on the other hand........

My Rover 200i has passed out... AGAIN!

Bad luck Red. I almost got a Rover but was warned off them.

When you buy a car you have to deal with the scum of the Earth sometimes - used car dealers. They're not all bad, but most of them are. I went to view a car once and the passenger side was parked against a wall. The reasons for this were scratches on the paint work and black gaffer tape on the wheel arches! The dealer reckoned he hadn't noticed them  Tosser.

Are you an engineer or a panel beater? Please do not tell me you're a panel beater.

Nice looking car there. It's a jag?

Mr BP has a 1970 1/2 [yep odd year model there] chevy camaro in the garage. Almost mint and in really good shape. Too bad I can't drive a manual transmission.

@BP

back in the day, I was a model / tool maker

I helped to build scale and full size models of cars for wind tunnel tests and stuff, and then coz there was only 220 made (20 for racing, and 200 for the road) I built some of the press tooling.

one thing I remember, the wing at the back had equivalent downforce, to sitting a Vauxhaul Belmont (that is - a big car) on the back of it.

Yeah, it's a jag, the fastest (or was?) production car around 8)

I used to have a Vauxhall Belmont. Looked a bit like this:

but had a proper boot instead of a hatchback (hence it was the Belmont and not the Astra). X reg 1981 it was. Possibly not what you were talking about. And mine didn't look as cool as this one (make of that what you will!).

Ended up totalling the thing in a ditch.

Actually, I'd like this to be my next set of wheels:

It's a head-turner...

Or maybe I'll go for this one:

it's the original car from the first 2 Mad Max movies (currently on display in a museum in the South of England, where I saw it a few years back.)

@ Black Shuck...damn I'm good...I can spot a 57 Chevy Belaire anywhere! That's one nice car.

Here's mine, she's on my desk, her name is Planet Girl.

Cars, I'm on my fourth one.
Went from nice family van to a little junker but I love her.
1981 VW Rabbit Convertible. Is great for going to the beach, the kids love it and I don't give a s**t about what happens to it. But best thing it's paid for.
