I don't do it anymore, of course. I did try and make an Airfix model with Junior once though, but he didn't see the appeal. Neither did I anymore. Now he's turning into a geetar geek.

You obviously haven't stood around in Sound Control watching someone try out every possible combination of a BOSS ME50 multiple effects unit.

Geekdom opened up to me in 1985 with the arrival of

and an appearance by a little combo from Leeds on OGWT.

I watch Star Trek: TNG reruns. I read comics. I play PC games. I'm a member of a Sisters of Mercy chat forum, on which I've made something in excess of seven hundred posts. I like Ben Gunn's hair.

I am a geek.

I'm cool with it. ;D

Yes, I'm sure it's about me - I hate any changes, I can't stand most of the sounds I hear from the radio, I feel myself very uncomfortably if I have to wear anything which isn't black etc; on the other hand - I've got more than 100 Sisters bootlegs...

Aspergers Syndrome
A More Down-to-Earth Description
by Lois Freisleben-Cook
I saw that someone posted the DSM IV criteria for Asperger's but I thought it might be good to provide a more down to earth description. There is a general impression that Asperger's syndrome carries with it superior intelligence and a tendency to become very interested in and preoccupied with a particular subject. Many of the weaknesses can be remediated with specific types of therapy aimed at teaching social and pragmatic skills. Although it is harder, adults with Asperger's can have relationships, families, happy and productive lives.

I would say you're clearly far too bonny to be a geek. But I wouldn't want to upset anyone.

From X-clothes? Just add Black Levi 501s, Fashion T-shirt, leather jacket and Ben Gunns head. And that was me in my prime.
