don't get cocky - the spinner doesn't come on until the third or fourth over....

I feel ... vindicated. Not because I've got passed the Kiwi spinner. Simply that I always knew I had an empty void of a life and needed silly props like this to keep me going.

Now I've proved that I'm not alone! Thanks, chaps.

Now .... this spinner.

Congratulations Mr James. I have finally despatched the Windies only to be annilated by the Indians. I somehow feel cricket isn't my game. :(

Hit an alarming (and beer-related) slump. Started to resemble the real-life England one-day squad.

Retired from international cricket, but may be ready for a comeback. Even with 10 overs and a bastard spinner I should get more than 101 against the Kiwis

Any of you Yorkshire types off to Headingley today?

Back on the case, and beat the Kiwis by five wickets, with a ball to spare.

Not convinced that a match-winning unbeaten 62 from Collingwood has much basis in reality, though.

Sri Lanka look tough, though.

sri lanka are very tough.

i found it pretty much plain sailing after that. the mighty aussies rolled over with hardly any fuss. although that had a lot to do with trescothick's magnificent 109...

I was about to ask if anyone had posted a century - Anyone who closes in either gets out in the 80s or runs of out runs to be scored. And there isn't time to farm the strike reliably.
