Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. How can you possibly compare disposable ephemera like the above to the mighty reflection of our present/future culture that is 2000AD? :eek: OK they do occasionally print some utter, utter rubbish, but it's all about trying out someone elses perspective after all.

Which is a lot more than some, so-called "proper" literatura can offer. Honestly, if you do think that comics are just for kids/people with a limited attention span who like pretty pictures (ok, I admit that one :lol: ), try something like a graphic novel. I can totally recommend "Preacher" (Ennis/Dillon/Fabry) :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: just for the black humour alone.

Try it, you might like it :wink:

Or might I suggest, as a stand-alone graphic novel, Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns? Written in the late '80s, it's become a new classic.
