Worryingly enough my mother has knitted him a wide selection of both!
Thank you for good wishes everyone...as for the rubber ring comments, put it this way, I shan't be entering any bicycle races for a bit...

Lovely to see you've managed to escape already! It took me weeks before I dared leave Number One Son's side, was forever checking he was breathing etc. I'm SURE babies hold their breath on purpose....
