I still maintain that rock "stars" should be subject to compulsory redundancy at 30 before their hearing is too impaired.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

i lost touch with pete a few years ago - i knew him via a band called beachbuggy, where pete moonlighted as the backing singer (and dogdrill's drummer hug was a former beebug drummer too) but he left beachbuggy andafter that i never saw him again
ever heard a band called J*R? from leeds? kinda like dogdrill's ikkle brothers mixed with a bit of shellac and jesus lizard. scary stuff

I'm going to see Mr Kilmister and his chums in November at the Hammersmith whaddeveritisthismonth.
Friend of a friend (no really) had a brother who came back from a Motorhead gig with his ears bleeding. And not figuratively, neither.
Anyway the point of this post was simply to say Lemmy: almost 59 and still churning it out, despite numerous big style rows with management and record companies.
And whooooooo claims to be very influenced by our Ian, eh? Yes, you there at the back with the sunglasses and the cheekbones, I’m talking to YOU.
Oh well.

The good thing is that they don't sell beer at the gig. Beer makes you forget to put in the earplugs.
The bad thing is that they don't sell beer at the gig. I like beer.

It happened to a mate of mine too. But then he did try to stick his head into the bass bins.

isn't Motorhead's motto 'everything louder than everything else'?
"And when you start to think about death, you start to think about what's after it. And then you start hoping there is a God. For me, it's a frightening thought to go nowhere".

if i was going to see Motorhead for the first time...it would have been a long long time ago...the tour was to support Ace Of Spades and it turned into No Sleep 'till Hammersmith...complete with flying Bomber...fast eddie, filthy phil taylor...and Lemmy...the most powerful trio on earth until the powderpuff girls came along
