guys if you wanna play games...
where is this from then??? (pretty simple really...)

Down in the meadow when the wind's in the west, the lightning tree stands up to the test. Dreams come true if you want them to, if you want them to then it's up to you.

f**k, i'm old.

Shoot me, they shoot horses don't they.

Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy.
Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye.

He's got style, a groovy style,
and a car that just won't stop.
When the going gets tough, he's really rough,
with a Hong Kong Phooey chop (Hi-Ya!)

Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy.
Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye.
Hong Kong Phooey, he's fan-riffic (gong!)

nope.........................

One banana, two banana, three banana, four.
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the banana buggies go
Comin' on to bring you The Banana Splits Show.

Makin up a mess of fun
Makin up a mess of fun
Lot's of fun for everyone.

Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.

Four banana, three banana, two banana, one.
All bananas playing in the bright warm sun.
Flippin like a pancake, poppin like a cork
Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork.

Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.

Funnily enough I was downloading the theme music from this the other day. It's quite badly scanned:

Autobots use their power TO/
Fight the evil forces OF/
The Decepticons.

Maybe it's better in Japanese.

Can't believe nobody mentioned Mysterious Cities of Gold.

Children of the sun, see your time has just begun /
Searching for your way, through adventure every day /
Every da-ay and night, with your condor in flight ....

Can't remember the rest.

The french version could be even cheesier, something like "au bord du grand condor, pour recherche les cites d'or".

Between all of us sat on the front row in German last week, we had all the Wombles songs, all the Smurfs CDs, and my contribution: Every Banana Splits song as mp3.

God bless them. I only saw the show twice.

Also, I'm watching old downloaded episodes of the original Twilight Zone. Is this me being old, or sad?

Yes, Tina Heath. If I remember correctly, her run as a BP presenter was short and disappointingly scandal-free.

"Lizzie Dripping Lizzie Dripping
Don't look now your skirt is slipping!"

Or something to that effect. I remeber getting a row from my mother for singing it.
