Well I've been fine so far in similar situation by following the chinese path:
Sit down by the river, stay calm and wait until the carcasses of your enemies float passed.
They all will, sooner or later. And it costs you so much less energy.

You don't know my temper! For a long time I didn't even know how to spell the word "patience" let alone to behave accordingly.
But seeing things happen according to your will without you actually moving a finger is a very rewarding experience that teaches you patience for good!

You sound like you know very well.
No, quite the contrary, I have it very easy to wave goodbye to unsatisfactory relationships.
The last words adressed to my ex were an undisputable "f**k off and die"
Hope, you'll find the strength to do so as well.

I would have thought giving up your infatuation with Eldritch would be of more benefit to your long term happiness. But hey, who am I to give anyone advice on quitting their addictions.

Dear lord, we actually agree with one another. How did that happen? And should I change my mind?

I'm aware you're right, DS, canon docre and rian.
But I'm also aware Francis is more than right. Yet, there's nothing I can do. Perhaps you understand.
Today, tommorrow and this week's most imminent challenge is to try not to go insane. That'll do, for now.
