I listened to a gig recently, (I forget which, but if you've heard it you'll know it) which was ruined by some complete idiot shouting "heavy metal" between each song.

 Would that be a bootleg of the Bonn gig (13/6/01)? I know who taped that show and also the identity of the individual shouting "heavy metal" between songs...! :innocent:

I was a bit tough on this gig, the blabbing only happens on the second disk, mostly during Numb/SKOS. It should be a hanging offence.

LOL, tell him not to shout it so many times next time he's near a tape recorder!

Talking of things shouted at gigs, in the late 80's in Leeds there was someone who always shouted "Big dog's cock" (or the full chant of "Big dog's lozenger, big dog's dillinger, big dog's cock")
and someone else who shouted "Show us your pasty". They're on a number of my recordings.

The Happy birthday dear sisters that I have lasts only 39 secs...

Is there a longer version??

Or are you referring to the rest of the boot?

In any case... Thanks QB!!!!!!

the recording that i mp3'd from original minidisc (which i titled "sisters on cake", after the slogan on the free teeshirt) was paused after the main set, and then restarted part-way through the crowd singing bit...

sadly the bit with me singing on my own, before the rest of the crowd joined in, was missed! and is not on that boot... :(

i've checked the original recording and yes, it is 39 secs long.

i dont know if any other recordings of that gig exist - i'm sure they must, but that one seems to be the only one that is in circulation... ;)

i'd be interested to hear if anyone actually recorded the whole singalong part, with my tuneless yelling audible!!! ;D
