My favourite songs have to be: HardWar, Mountain Voices, Mexico Sundown Blues, Dust Boat, Edie Sedgwick.

Where can I get this six tracks that are not available for download?
He's great indeed, I was just feeding my Mexico Sundown Blues and Mountain voices addiction this morning :D ... It's a shame he's gone towards the kind of thing 4080peru is, don't like it as much as his early stuff...

I miss Johnny Goodbye. I had both Texas and Mexico on vinyl 12", with Johnny as a b-side on one of them, but I can't find them. They're probably in a cellar somewhere. And they looked good too. Nice cover/sleeve design. One of them was produced by Andy.

I've printed out his novella and reading it right now. It looks okay. A little cliché-ish but I assume that's part of the point.

I wondered why it wasn't simply jamesray.co.uk

then I looked:

http://www.jamesray.co.uk

Although 'Gas and Liquid Pressure Needs' sounds oddly like it could be a JR title. Hmm... is that his day-ray job?

anyway, thanks for the link.

You can get some of the other songs on the Best OF - Amazon.com folks.

Also, was rather excited until I realized the files are 96kbs, hardly good for CD burning. The first disc I burned essentially sounded like recording the LP onto cassette tape. Oh well, better than nothing.

This link lists as at least some additional tracks from singles. http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/jspackman ... ngles.html
I have no idea if these will be uploaded as well. It would be exceptionally nice if they were, but even what we have been given thus far is a nice treat. :notworthy:

I'm suprised no one has taken him up on the offer of arranging a screening in their own front room.
