Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. *gets nostalgic* I can remember having a record player which played 78's and you had to change the needle to do so - mind you ....... the 78's were all grandads classical records (no Sisters that I can remember :lol: )

@Whizzkid - I never bidded. A dub mix of Torch would have been a brilliant thing, but for £12?

I decided to make my own Torch remix. ;)

@Johnny - No, not 78rpm. (Is 7" vinyl that hard to understand?) :roll:


So in the next months we'll try for:

July - Top 50 12"s
August - Top Nite Out (as you'll be busy around August time with that pop band of yours) ;)
August - Top 20 Flexis (for those able to post)
September - Top 20 78rpms
October - Top 50 Picture Disks/Shaped records
November - Top 50 Promo records

Or something like that. We could give the Channel Four broadcasting department a run for their money with all these "Top ## $RECORD"s. :lol:

Can we have top 50 records that we wish we owned?

Or a top 50 that we own in more than one format (not counting copies that have been made for convenient listening in Walkmans, car stereos etc)?

And finally a top 50 records that couldn't be squeezed into any other pigeonhole. Square discs on round vinyl, perhaps.

There's a good enough reason for everyone, I think.

Flexi-CDs..? Nah, the best CDs so far are the ones which are designed to look almost identical to vinyls.

I wonder if they'll ever invent CDs which are vinyl on one side and CD on the other...

But despite the year being 2005, I'd release the whole lot on flexi if I could make them myself.

Someone a few months ago (was it Francis?) mentioned you only need about £50 worth of equipment to make flexis. If I knew how to get hold of said equipment...
